Super Takumar 85mm f1.9 CA

At work, so no pictures at the moment. That said, i was using this lens again after not for a while, and I don't at all recall the heavy CA I am getting with it. From wide open to around f2.8 it has pretty heavy Red/Blue CA.
I don't recall it doing this before now, is it even possible to somehow unalign the lens enough to have it do this?

how did you evaluate the before/after? Is it perhaps that your newer body has 2x the pixels, and thus you are effectively zooming in 2x and seeing what appears to be "more" but in fact is identical behavior?

I have the smc version - It goes from red to bule-greenish CA mostly in high contrast areas (shining metal, etc) that are slightly out of focus but I think it is not worse or maybe even little better than most fast film-era pentax lenses.

I just had a chance to take a few shots with mine, which is a really early 6 digit serial number one. I don't see anything I'd describe as heavy.

Apparently I'm just on mind altering medication or something? Took it out yesterday, looks fine.

Either I'm not well of there was something environmental at play. False alarm folks.
