Albinar 500mm F/8

Is this lens a mirror lens?

If you mean the one I think you do, then yes.
But I believe you can find both a mirror and non-mirror lens based on the information given alone.
The mirror version is short and wide, and the non-mirror version is long.
Do an image search for Albinar 500mm F/8 and you will see both.

I checked again, it's not a mirror. It doesn't have the stumpy look nor does it have that object in the center of the front lens. But I've thought about it and it's really too long for my use. Thanks for the help anyway.

It's probably THIS ONE. They are actually fairly decent and by far the cheapest way to get 500mm. They are long, but you need a tripod for 500mm whether mirror or tube lens, and this one is very light.

And Tripod isn't a problem, I have two Manfrottos.

Btw, at one time I had a Samyang 100-500mm but sold it. Now I wish I still had it.
