SMC-K 24mm wont focus to infinity

I have a very nice and sharp SMC-K 24mm lens that I just discovered wont quite focus to infinity.
I'm lazy and haven't pulled it apart yet to find out how easy a fix it is.
Can anyone help ? Any Links ? I really want to repair it myself and am hoping that its just a simple adjustment screw from the rear of the lens.......Thanks

Before you start ripping the lens apart,
let me ask how you've determined that it won't reach infinity.
The K and A 24/2.8 lenses are generally not as sharp at infinity as they are closer in.
On the other hand, if they're set up right and on a true body,
they have a hard infinity stop, so they may not play nice with CIF and the green hexagon.
Another problem is the field curvature, so you may not get good focus all over the image.

The hard stop is very slightly stopping it from reaching true infinity. I sold a different SMC 24mm lens that wasn't as cosmetically as appealing and it was very sharp at infinity so I'm making a rather SWAG here , but quite sure that is exactly the problem.
Ive repaired and adjusted a few lenses , just don't know where the infinity hard stop adjustment is located in this lens copy. I may be able do easily do it.....or......May have to pass if I have to remove the barrel and such.
If it was focusing past the infinity hard stop I wouldn't even be here asking for help.

Don't forget that it also depends on the body,
which in your case might be at the high end
of the tolerance for the register distance.

That's what I'm thinking....its very close but just not quite there on the K3 and K3II.

I believe that this one like most K lenses is just 3 screws behind the name ring (which rotates out counterclockwise) to remove the barrel, then loosen three screws behind the barrel for the infinity adjustment. A JIS screwdriver is highly recommended.
That's just what I DIDNT want to hear.....lol. Thanks !
And I just tried....few minutes later.......that front ring is NOT being removed easily with the couple tricks I know....Its on there real good......lol......Dammit !!!!!

What kind of filter wrench are you using - plastic or rubber?

I'm getting this too with my copy but I think it isn't a question of not reaching infinity. It is just not very good at resolving infinity no problems with closer subjects like buildings.
