I think you have made your point. Well done.

I wouldn't dare to make choices (guesses really) as to which lens is which.

If one has to either guess or pixel-peep, then the results are the same. The only reason I can think to choose one of these over another is if you are going to make a print of some large size. Then "peeping" might be useful.

image at this size are all very similar. Might be useful of full size files or 100% crops are provided. My guess, just for fun.
A: 16-50
B: 50/1.8
C: 18-135
D: 18-55
E: 50-135

I have to agree with that. A very good comparison test mee. I have 3 of the 5 lenses being compared and I am pleasantly surprised how similar the images are at face value. Well done, and thanks for the quiz !!!

Thank you. I felt that the absurdity of my statement was so obvious that a smiley would have been redundant.

Yes, at the resolution we share our images, the differences are miniscule. Especially if a moderate to heavy amount of post processing is affecting the image. 'Fingerprint' or the identity of each lens disappears..

But what about full sized images? (click on each then click again to get the full-sized version)

Parlour game maybe, the old Kerrowdown hasn't got a scoobie about which lens is what.

However he has got a concern that all the babes a missing... which IMHO would have been the main focus of interest in a shot like this.

Tomorrow will be 92 degrees here, and we will feel a little "Warm".

Thanks for the post, mee. Did you have lens an camera profile adjusting turned on when processing the photos on your computer? I am quite surprised to see how similar these photos are. Had to guess from corners, CA, but the differences are much smaller than I thought/

And up here in Scotland we have to open another browser tab and google 'Fahrenheit to Celsius conversion' every time we come across a post like this

Thanks for the full-sized versions.

Then when it is 102 with a heat index (feels like temperature) of 130 in late July here what would you call that?

Absolutely had Lightroom profiles for each lens enabled. Wait until I post the unaffected images.. THAT is when it gets interesting (aka much more obvious).
