Rainbowy glow around bright lights, but seemingly perfect SMC-M 50mm 1.7

One would find rainbow-colored glows around bright lights in these pictures. Does anybody know why they occur? The lens was professionally cleaned, but wasn't used in a decade or more. The film is Fujicolor C200 with a Pentax ME camera.
