State Fair!

.

The State Fair is a very big deal here. Some shots taken with the 12-24 on a hot
late summer afternoon...

I actually like the effect of shooting into the sun in the afternoon - bring the
hot, humid, 'slowing down' feeling that comes with the approaching summer
evenings...

Taken today with the 12-24:

crop. This lens does blue like blue didn't know it could be done.

straight up into the canopy

I love shooting into the sun with this lens, it shifts the colors into weird/deep tones

RE: love the 12-24 colors

...I find when the sun is high in the sky I have to stop down heavily to control CA, but when the sun is setting, not so much. In both cases when used properly, the lens gives "great sky"...

This is from my "waiting for the light" series one winter day this past year, shot @ f/5.6

Sunrise near 9000ft on the Ngorongoro Crater Wall, Tanzania. (this one is f/16)
