I have a sneaking suspicion that the F is the odd one out for quality... Order is M, A, F


Close up, it comes down to focusing,









But at a distance, well, things look less than fantastic...

Comes down to the focusing at long distance as well. Your F shot is back focused out to infinity (way further than the other two), leaving the house, horses, etc. out of focus.

All of them are pretty much the same optically, so results should be comparable across the three.

Copy variance has a play. The A is a little teeny bit sharper overall in close...

The F lens completely flipped a horse around.

The horse picture, the F is much much sharper at the far pole and branches behind the house than the M is, so i would assume you have some great focus issues right there, make sure you find a better subject for sharpness testing, then focus manually on a tripod using liveview. Only this way can you get consistency in your testing procedure

Regardless the usual manufacturing variance between lenses, the M is clearly the winner on a price-to-value basis. For $40-$45 you can't go wrong even if it is only used once or twice every few years.
