LBA battle

Today I have won my biggest LBA battle. I went to see some lenses again, because my LBA is creaping on me really badly. Of course that lovely M200 I saw the other week was gone. But in another shop I played around with Tokina RMC 28 f2.8. The price was outstanding, and the lens seemed to be tack sharp, it was just underexposing by 2/3 of stop or so... I nearly took it but I kept my head cool and strong...
I know I will possibly regret it for a few days, but that's a life.
July score:
LBA 0 me 2

Congratulations on the ... win...

Myself, I definitely absolutely decided no more buying last month. I told myself there will always be more lenses and cameras out there... no need to buy anything now... So my last purchase was going to be the Praktica PLC2 plus lenses for my brother in law's birthday. This after my final splurge at the camera show (Jupiter-12 for the Fed, a nice vintage Tamron 35, some filters etc).

Only the local camera store just got in a near mint KX. At least I left the M 35 on the shelf.
Only I had to get a replacement Pentacon Electric 50 for the Praktica, as the one I'd got is literally in pieces in a plastic bag.
Only how could I leave a Super Tak 28/3.5 sitting there for $23?

LBA 3 - me 1.

(But: I did resist bidding high for the 200mm Soligor T4, the Sears 135 close focus.... do those count?)

You will love that KX. That is the only piece of photo equipment I regret losing for its practicality. Nothing is lost when the battery goes dead except a little black meter needle doesn't work. Stupidest thing I ever did was to trade it instead of just buying the SF-1 (Which I do not regret buying at all).
