Irix 15mm f/2.4 sample

saw this sample posted on FB by a Pentax seller, which stated they got the lens sample.

None taken with K-1 though. D810 and 5DMIII.

Looks pretty good I say.

Thanks, LFLee for the link! This lens looks like a good one. I did some checking and the new release date could be this Summer.
A leak," read rumor", said it will be in the $600-$800 price range, depending on the version you choose.

Looks interesting. Perhaps I'll stick to stitching my DA 15 for now.

Thanks for this. Been considering one of these to go with my FA 20, or sell the FA 20 and get the DFA 15-30. The primes seems like a better solution to me as I can use screw-on ND's.

That looks very impressive. I'll be interested to see how it fares in real world use by some of our members

I'll definitely be buying this lens due to the sealing, focus lock and hyper focal settings. I do wish it was a little smaller (well a lot smaller, but even a little smaller would be nice) but I think it will make a nice 3 lens combo (mostly weather sealed) with my 14mm, 16-85mm and 150mm f/3.5 for use in the mountains. I doubt I'll have the 150mm out in bad weather since it's more for long range compression type shots. But the 14mm and 16-85mm will probably be on the camera in all sorts of weather.

yeah... the price point of this lens is definitely a selling point... and most importantly, available in K mount!
