my DA21 and A50 haven't really been used and it's starting to bug me. i think eventually i'll push them out. for some reason it bugs me to have lenses that i'm really not using. even my backup Tamron 28-200 which is my only long lens, i feel like i should get rid of.

i think w/ fewer lenses, i can learn more of the intracacies of each. the FA Limiteds, they are very jealous lenses :P

What's your story. I know that a lot of you have way more lenses that I do but do you use them all?
I have Zenitar 16mm 2.8, Sigma 24-60mmF2.8 EX DG, FA28mm 2.8, F 50mm F1.7, FA100mm 2.8 Macro, FA135mm 2.8 , DA*200mmF2.8 & A* 300mm F4.
Of all the lens that I have , the one that is least used now is FA10mmF2.8macro. It is just heavy heavy and exactly the opposite of what FA135mm is (light and short). Since I have not been shooting macro, I hardly even bring up the 1 1/2 lb lens. You can feel that it is a pure chunk of glass when you hold it.

If I want the FoV of an 100mm most likely I will use the lighter substitute of either F50mm or FA135mm

Got to bring it out more. What a waste of a great lens!

My wife asked me why I need two F2 bags. I told her it takes two bags to store my camera gear - one for the K10D and auto lenses and one for the KX and manual lenses.

She reached over my shoulder, clicked the ebay link and walked away.

I didn't tell her about the third bag that holds my MESuper and Tak's.

That being said, I have recently sold five and have seven more lenses for sale right now - plus three bodies, three more bags, assorted filters and accessories coming up.

That will reduce me to ten lenses - and rational FL coverage. My only real addiction is 50's, where I will have reduced from eight to three. I will then use each lens I keep for a specific, planned purpose.

I am a hobbyist, and some of the hobby value to me is just HAVING Pentax stuff - but I'm getting over that with help from members here

I use them all but the 50-200 and 70-300 are destined to be sold (I guess) due to the 55-300 having superior IQ. Won't miss the quasi-macro mode of the Sigma, but the small size of the 50-200 is nice.

Busted! No I don't use all the Pentax, or other mount lenses laying around. Confession. Don't even know how many lenses I have for the Olympus OM-4/3- Pen f, Leica M, Canon EOS, Pentax A110, Pentax 6x7, and Pentax 35mm-digital systems.
I do use a lot of them. Not all at once. Carry K20D, 10-17, 16-45, 31, DA55-300, 77, DFA100 macro, A*200 in big Domke F1 bag.
Carry K10D( sometimes DS), 18-55, A50 1.7, A70-210 in Domke F6 bag for portability. Have 4 other Domkes for the other systems.
Right now the macros are on the cameras. When weather gets a little cooler it will switch to large teles for wild life. When in a big city, like St. Louis, the wides come out to play. I shoot extremes. The last two months everything from fisheye to 1250mm. Can't imagine not shooting over 85mm!
Will buy another 50mm lens this month. Never thought that would happen ( must have 5 or 6 now). Store sent me home with all three Lens Baby models. Need to decide which to buy.
Also have a Pentax A15 3.5. Love it on the LX. Doesn't do anything for me on digital.

thanks

The only one I don't use is the Tamron SP 28-135 since it's a beast...and I don't really like the push-pull zoom design.

Tried selling it for half of what B&H asks...no takers. Just might have to use it on the TLS or MX (when I get one).

My kit lens and A 70-200/4 have been in my drybox for the longest time... what I do use is 50-135 on my K10D, while my K100D bag has the Viv 28/2.8 CF, and the ol' reliable M 50/2. Selling my Sigma 10-20 to replace with a 16-50*. Found myself not using the 10-20 much. Figure the 16-50 will see much more action...

Nope, I'm not using all of them... But can't sell them either yet. I'm waiting for the FF DSLR. Then I will decide what to do, which to keep etc.

I found out that I rarely use my DA 40mm. I keep it for idealistic reasons

Of course, I have used every single lens I owned. I rotate them throughout my outing for photography

I try and use them but you know the old saying. He who dies with the most toys, wins.

I use all but one of my lenses on a fairly regular basis. I find that if I start getting bored with a certain perspective, putting a new lens on helps to change how I'm looking at things. My lonely left out lens is a Kiron 28-105mm f3.2. I bought it to use on my ME-Super, but found I like using my primes on that camera better. So it just sits on the shelf, and it's not worth enough money to give me incentive to sell it.

I try to use all my lenses, hence the "lonely lens club" thread. I started it primarily to get me to use some of the lenses I have that I don't use. Now I need more time to go out shooting!

NaCl(right now my lonliest lenses are the kit lens and it's companion the DA 50-200)H2O

I also use them all. The 18-55 doesn't count, because i never used it. It just came with the K10D, i bought the kit instead of only the body because it would be easier to re-sell.

That is my least used also, but I couldn't part with it either.
Second on my list, almost never used is my Voigtlander 58/1.4
