Just Scored Rikenon P 105mm Macro !

I just scored a Ricoh Rikenon P Macro 105mm lens from an auction with 7 other Ricoh P lenses (in two separate auctions).......Is it as Good as they say ?
Don't have it until later next week but very excited as the reviews seem so high in the lens section.
Anyone have some input on this lens ? I Paid a kinda high price for a Nice Ricoh SLR and 3 other lenses ....$170.
Oh....I'm well aware of the Dreaded Ricoh Pin , so lets not turn this into another one of those discussions.....thanks

So YOU are the one who got that! It got too expensive for me, but it looked like a nice kit. I came across a similar kit on $bay which describes it as a KS 135a US Army Kit. Compared to the price on $bay, you got a deal. Hope it all is clean, and it did look good from the pics. I've gotten a couple things on Goodwill, and some of it's good, and some is a mess.

Yup......that was me.....also scored another Ricoh 4 lens kit and a 4 element , 18 blade , Takumar 200mm 3.5 lens that is quite desirable.
I was hoping it (Macro lens) would go unnoticed as the listing spelled it Rocoh.....lol..... Nope.....No such Luck.
Yes.....I have had exceptional Good Luck on Goodwill so far......they DO Look very clean.

Excellent. This another rebadging of the cult classic Kiron 105mm f/2.8 macro. The major difference is the semi-matt finish as opposed to the typical shiny semi-satin finish for Kiron lenses.

$170 USD for this lens alone is a very good price.

What other lenses did you get?

for $170 on this one auction I got the following ...... Rikenon P 28mm 2.8 ........ Rikenon P 50mm 1.4 .......... Rikenon P 70-210mmmm Zoom 4.5 - 5.6 ........Rikenon P 105mm Macro......... and a nice looking Ricoh XR-10.......all of then look very clean and nice and have a couple accessories, and all caps are included.
It was the Macro (Lester Dine) Lens I was after , all the rest was just a Bonus.

You scored big time. That would have been a very nice outfit in the film era. Actually it still is with the K-1.

I had a Rikenon 50mm f1.4 for my two Ricoh XR-M bodies. The focusing mount was one of the smoothest I have encountered on any lens (another was on a Steinheil 40mm f3.5 Cassaron). However, I found the IQ disappointing, well short of the performance of my much older M42 50mm f1.4 Takumar.
