K 24mm F3.5 focus throw

Hello everybody

I am thinking about buying either the 2.8 or 3.5 K variant of the 24mm lens.
However I've read that the short focus throw of the K 24mm 2.8 can be annoying for some people.
Can someone confirm me how many degrees of focus rotation these lenses have? (I think the 2.8 has 90 degrees, does the 3.5 have the same?)

At the images it looks like both have about 1 cm of rotation from infinity to 1 meter. I can't see the rest of the scale but both are focusing to 25 cm.

You might take a look at Sigma's old 24/2.8 in either manual or auto-focus. It is a decent lens, perhaps better than the Pentax's.

I guess build quality, colour rendition and flare control are better on the Pentax, if you are referring to the Super Wide II. Sharpness is better on the Sigma, though I really don't care much about it. It also has mount issues.
I considered the Sigma, but my eyes are on the k24 now. That alleged 180-degree focus ring is atractive though.

I have a 24mm f3.5 K right here. It does have about a 90 degree focus rotation and which goes from infinity to 1m very quick. I don't have a problem with this as a wide angle lens is often stopped down when used for landscapes etc and has a large depth of field. It has a very precise clear focus range. It's a good lens.

sorry. Very precise near focus range.

I have the K 24 2.8. The focus ring is short, it feels less than 90 degrees. But the DOF is big so I haven't found it to be a problem.

It is a good lens and great for close objects, but I don't find it all that sharp at longer distances. Not bad but at f4.5 and smaller, my Tokina 19-35 and DA 16-45 render better pictures at longer distances.

I have the 24 3.5 and find it sharp at all distances. Don't let the focus throw put you off. It suits the wide angle. Overall it's a wonderful lens. Check the reviews on the site. BTW I think they're both quite rare. I don't know if you can just decide to get one.
