My wish list - FA 31mm LTD & 50-135mm, but currently is 50mm 1.4 the best.

Sigma 28-70 constant f2.8. Heavy FF lens but resolving power suits the K20D.

LZOS Jupiter-9 85/2

I know it sounds weird. The J-9 is unwieldy to use and requires a fairly deliberate approach to picture taking. It also does not focus quite as close as I would like. But for some reason it stays on my camera most of the time. Most of the pictures and almost all of the good ones I have taken in the last five months (I got the J-9 in March) have been with this lens.

Voightlander 180 as telephoto, usually lives on my lense - I have been using the sigma 24 2.8 superwide II as well recently, its my goto for wide angle.

DA 14 is my go-to lens because it forces me to think different. However, it shares time with my FA 20-35 on my K10.

The K f1.2 50mm.

Sure, it's full of fungus, the focus ring's dented and focuses none too smoothly now, and some bastard dropped it with a not-properly-screwed-in polariser on it, cross-threading the filter ring severely, but by St. Albertus Magnus is it a great lens.

this is a tough question, and quite unfair for primes users! After all, we didn't splurge all that money just to stick with one lens.

But if I really had to choose it'd be the Nokton 58/f1.4. Using it on a film body.

Heh - we can take this thread a step further and develop it as a assistance program for LBA-ers... the mantra will be "You only need one lens..."

I difficult question for sure!

I would have say my goto is still the kit DA18-55 II, followed close by the DA55-300.

FA 28-70mm f/4 AL

Although I have fast primes, fast zooms and wider range zooms; the FA 28-70mm f/4 AL lives on my K10D! It just fits me somehow!
