Sigma 4.5/500 - TC experiences

Hi!

This is to all the fellow Pentax users of Sigma's f4.5/500mm AF EX DG APO lens: I wonder about your experiences with TCs, mainly in the 1.4x area.
Which TC do you use or did you test and what are your take aways?

Hi,
I have used Sigma 500/4.5 with 1.5 TC from Promaster (Kenko). The image quality was very poor. So now shooting without TC. 500 mm is more than enough for my need. Actually the same TC was really great combo with tonika 400/5.6 SD for some reasons.
Camera Pentax K-5.
