I'm gonna look for some cunductive tape or see if it's possible for me to get a mount from a hazed 50mm I have to fit it as a solution.

Or clean the Helios mount. Might be non-conductive from years of non-use.

I tried cleaning it but it wasn't effective, I decided to layer up some aluminum foil right where the contacts sit on the lens. Measured it out with a mount cap and got it to sit right in the indent with 2 dabs of glue. It doesn't catch, can be removed, and is semi-permanent until I get my conductive epoxy. Then I'll just paint the groove one layer at a time till I get the depth I want.

Not wishing to be totally CSI but the screws on the lens mount look as if they've been used.
The slots look slightly ragged as if they've been attacked with a slightly too small screwdriver.
Does this mean that the lens has been "adjusted" by a previous owner.
Apologies to the OP if that's his work.
