was leaning towards DA*300 but...

Hello all,

I was seriously considering the DA*300 but the sample pictures of the DA*60-250 make me hesitate.
My question is of course not related to focal lengths, as the differences are obvious, nor convenience, for the same reason. My question as a newbie in the DSLR world is about IQ. Zooms are compromises, so would it be fair to assume that IQ would be "worse" (albeit great too maybe)? Also, how would the DA*60-250 be expected to compare to the stellar DA*50-135 IQ wise, for the same reasons? Does a longer zoom have more design compromises?
Please somebody enlighten the lay...

'Theoretically the 300/4 should give better IQ. The same goes for 50-135 vs 60-250.

But the proof is in the pudding. So it is to early to tell. You simply have to be patient, or to take the risk of buying one the available lenses. No one can provide you with accurate answer to your questions at the moment.
