Bill, I use those Tan Thingies all the time
They're the best for holding home made diffusers onto your flash.
They'll stop a lens from creeping down
They'll hold your models hair out of her face.
And the best thing........... You can shoot them at someone blocking your shot

Hmmmm .... I'd be leery of any beverage with 'sweat' in the product name. Eewww!

Good use of your spare time, Mike. Did you try different focal lengths before you arrived at that bottle size?

I think we need more suggestions of the use of the tan thingy. Stu covered some great uses. And again does the length of the bottle change the focal length, or the DOF?
