Yeah, last I heard Tommy from Texas was giving that lens some serious consideration for use on his K-1.

.......That's the way some of those E-Bay Lens Collectors are I guess. He DID say it wasn't going to be sold to a User.....only going to sell to a Serious Collector of his Caliber ?

Just for balance, the lens was sold resently for a much more correct price, 350€.

Obiettivo Asahi Takumar F 1 9 83mm | eBay

I was watching, but I allready have 1 copy of the lens, 2 would be a bit over the top. I paid approx 400€ for the lens.

The best way to buy it is via no-reserve auction, where you can get the kind of prices you are talking about. The best way to sell it is with a fixed-price/Buy-it-Now listing, where it can sell for $900-$1000 if a motivated buyer comes along.
