Jupiter 37A 135mm

Hi,

has anyone had any experience with that lens. How does it compare with others such as Katumar, Vivitar or Carl-Zeiss?

I used to have Super Multi Coated Takumar 135mm f/3.5 and SMC Pentax-M 135mm f/3.5 but I like my Jupiter-37A best.
The Jupiter is sharper wide open than the two Pentax lenses, and have a beautifuly smooth bokeh.
Can't say much for the Vivitar as I did not have it, but I am pretty sure the Jupiter will beat it by a mile.

I strongly recommend the Jupiter-37A. Trust me, you will not be disappointed.

Here are some samples photos made with this lens:

You are welcome. BTW, I forgot to tell you that the Jupiter-37A has 12 perfectly round aperture blades, which helps for it's smooth bokeh.

Cheers.
