i vote for the 50mm f1.7. I have the M version and can attest that it is sharper than my FA f1.4 at the same f-stop. I use it wide open, no flash, for portrait
upside- it's fabulous without any softness error. it's an incredible value, about as inexpensive a high quality lens can get!!!
down side - no A mode means you'll have a hard time with flash photography. need a light meter...

another little thing i notice: very few offer to sell on the DA50-135.. that lack of trade often means it is a 'keeper'...

you guys got my LBA started again lol
