Use of Tokina RMC 80-200 mm f/3.5-4.5 lens on Pentax camera

I was recently given the above lens by a friend. The Pentax Forum lists it a 9.3 on the sharpness scale, and I can't wait to try it out on my K50. Unfortunately, it is fitted with a Nikon mount. Is there a simple way to convert this to a Pentax mount?

I doubt it. I have this lens, and it is pretty nice - but I only paid about $10 for it. You'd be better off looking for a K-mount (Pentax) version of the lens. Good luck!

Nope.
And it's probably an "AI" mount which means it has sticking out gubbins on the mount. If it's just an "F" mount you would probably be able to judiciously squeeze it on your pentax, because Nikon F and PK are very similar, sufficiently to snap a few test pics.
The tok rmc 80-200mm is a decent lens - 8/10'ish IMO - but there are lots of others (browse the reviews here - i searched for 70-210's for you), just look around for PK mount ones, or M42 screw mounts which are easily adaptable to pentax bayonet.

I have the Tokina SZ-X 80-200 f4.5-5.6 (52mm thread version) with Pentax K-mount. Average user rating here on PF is 9.4. I paid $20 on e-bay and what an outstanding value!! Easily worth 5 times what I paid, if not more. Auto-aperture, manual focus. Highly recommended.

You're welcome.
The 80-200mm mentioned by Apet-Sure isn't so common, I've tried to pick up one cheap a couple of times and been outbid, and TBH tho I haven't tried it I suspect it's just another good one that's got a bit overrated here on PF.

I've been doing a considered comparison of the 3 rated vivitar series 1 70-210's with the 2 tamron adaptall SP 70-210's and kiron zoomlock 70-210mm. And the best at 210m was the underrated and underpriced 52A! You can see my web page here (still under development).
