Marketing gimmick. A campaign amount of only $10,000? Give me a break.

If you are interested, wait until the product comes to market in a few months and some reviews have been generated. It is unlikely that the street price will exceed the currently available "backer" option.

I've been to talk to the UK distributor, UK Digital, last week. (I bought the Laowa 15mm Macro from them).

They hope to have it available in September.

Hi Barry, could you please give your opinion on the Laowa 15mm? I'm thinking about this lens, too.

Ouch!

When I tried the shift feature, bits flew off it!

UK Digital are getting it examined and hopefully fixed.
