The FA77 is my most used lens and I shoot most of my portraits with it. My copy is sharp enough at f/1.8, gets really sharp at f/2.2-f/2.5 (this is where I most often use it, mostly for some extra AF precision leeway). There are always copy variations, but I would rate is just as sharp as my other portrait primes (FA43 Ltd, DA*55). This portrait of Pantea is shot wide open on the K-3, the link goes to the full-res version.  | |
