I'm lucky enough to have 7 out of the 9 F series primes....

.... the F 1.7 AF Converter.....

.... and a couple of zooms to complete the picture....

.... I bet one of you has more than 7 F Primes

One can excuse not having the 85 soft, as it is a specialty lens, but there is no excuse for not making room in your kit bag for the 600

The 85 soft wouldn't get used (and they tend to be a bit highly priced just to add to a collection) - There is room in one of my bags for the 600, the problem is with the depth of my pocket

I've been using Pentax for more than 30 years, but the collecting probably started around 10 years ago - I've bought, sold, regretted selling and bought some lenses more than once (Pentax F 100 macro for example). The current F collection is mainly over the last 3 to 5 years

I did have to look up the full list of F lenses to find which ones were missing. Aside from the 300, the other 6 you have are not painfully expensive which surprised me somewhat. The 300 starts to pinch, and I agree the 600 breaks all budgets.

There's similar phenomenon called 'PC porn', but yours is much more impressive I've got F 100 macro, which is fantastic glass.

You seem to be missing one of the little gems of the line. I'd be happy to trade my Pentax-F 35-70 for that big ol' ugly white lens that seems out of place in your set.

Just kidding of course. Nice kit. I have a couple of the F-series lenses and the 1.7x AFA. They work well on my K-3.

Lenny,
so what does the F-series feel like? You shoot'em all, don't you?

No 300 or 600, almost had the 300 but decided to go with the DA* instead. Maybe someday for the 600

Impressive collection, I have hopes of getting a 135mm and a F* 300mm but I think the 600mm is pure fantasy.

If the 85 was there it would have to be considered soft porn
