Limited 20-40 - Sample Images requested

I am looking to purchase the 16-50 or the 20-40 for the WR. I know what to expect from the 16-50, but I am interested in seeing portrait work done with the 20-40 to help me make my decision.

Can those of you with this lens show off some of your work? Thanks!

You sold me!

I just ordered one

. Color and Pixy dust sold me. I am switching to this from my beloved Sigma 17-50 f2.8 and my 18-135WR. While the 17-50 is SHARP as heck, it isn't WR. My 18-135WR is a fine lens, but it isn't has sharp as my Sigma, so gets left at home quite a bit. I needed a lens to meet in the middle and give me the best of both worlds. I think this will do very nicely.

Might as well go ahead and make another suggestion: get a DA*50-135 to fill in the long side of the 18-135. My 18-135 was sent to eBay just from what I saw on the back LCD from the 50-135 let alone Lightroom. It's an awesome portrait lens too and with the 20-40 it's a great combo.

You and I think alike. I own the 50-135 and it rocks. That combo is what i am goong for.

The DA*50-135 takes fantastic pictures. Haven't ruled out using it on the K-1 in crop mode, throwing away half the pixels.

The combo I carry with my k-3 a lot of the time us the DA 20-40 plus DA* 50-135. I agree with the others here. I sometimes toss the DA 15 in the bag as well.

I'm stuck between adding the 14 2.8 or the 15ltd to my kit, but am pretty set on adding a DA* or FA*200mm f2.8 to go along with my 2x teleconverter to fill out my kit. I'll eventually replace my K-30 I guess, maybe with the next aps-c flagship.

I have the DA* 200 as well as the 1.4x HD and 1.7x AF rear converters. The lens works well with either within limits.
