Dilemma - Choice Between 16-50mm F2.8 or Keeping 31mm F1.8

Besides versatility of having a zoom, I can think of no reason to sell the 31. Image quality of the 31 is among the best pentax offers in K mount.

The FA31 is my default lens on an APS-C camera. I wouldn't get rid of it to replace with the 16-50 unless you have a very specific need that the 16-50 will fit.

well....

you could sell the 31 and buy a screwdrive 16-50 AND 50-135

if these are your only lenses that's a pretty nice combination.
