Lens Advise

Hi all,

I would like to buy the following lenses.
SIGMA 300 f2.8 EX
SIGMA 70 to 200 f2.8 EX, which I have been told either Sept or Nov.

I have had a look at BH Video, KEH and Admorma without luck.
Does anyone know of any other options in the US, as I will be in the US in Sept.

Nope, I spent MONTHS looking for a 70-200mm that was "affordable", but all the used ones were going for >1000USD and no new ones could be found (I'm talking about the DG non-macro, without any HSM capability). Back in the summer of 2006, Cameta was selling them for $699!

HOPEFULLY, the latest DG Macro II HSM will be available in November (I think that's what I heard....)

One of the reasons why I switched to Canon was lens availability. No problems finding a 70-200mm new for $799 or so.....

I know that there is a delay in the 70 to 200, it would seem there is an issue with the 300.

I understand that there is a Sigma rep, which looks at this site maybe she can contact me..
