Eerily similar performance to the Nokton. I'd liken the T*85 as the Noktons far sighted big brother. The 'close focus' performace isn't the same as the Nokton, but the dramatic seperation, dreamy contrast @ 1.4 and razor sharpness from 2.8 are spot on.

I agree with the above. Both are good, but the contrast difference seems more noticeable than any other factor to me (at least with the bottle shots).

Hi Angelo, out of curiosity - having tested both the A* and the T*, which would keep if you could only keep 1 and why?

I have yes, I'm currently travelling with it and typing on my phone. I'll post some pics in a few days once I'm home.
