F35-105 dropped and damaged

Hi!

My mint copy of the F35-105 fell hood first from 2 feet. Glass OK but zoom barrel took the hit and is jammed. Plus it won't focus anymore.
And something is loose inside. I suppose it's gone and will try to make an insurance claim.

But still: any idea what broke, it is fixable? Anyone disassembled one?

I feel for you. Don't know what I would do without that lens.

Thanks. I have to find a replacement, maybe a F35-135 instead if it's easier to find. Until then the F35-70 will do. That copy is not nearly as good.

I've jammed the zoom of my F 35-70 before by dropping it, I fixed it by aligning it with force.

This quick fix won't do, something inside is loose.
Update after a year of waiting: I had it checked today at a shop, they did refuse to try and fix it since spares are not available.
Anyone has any info how to disassemble the lens? I checked the Pentax Lens Disassembly Database - PentaxForums.com but did not find a match close enough.

I'm hopeful the problem is fixable with super glue or another DIY measure. Otherwise it is just a steep learning curve in optics...
