I'm happy with my Pentax 12-24, which I bought used. It was in excellent condition but it cost $599 (from KEH). I've never seen anomalous bad results from it. This is one of the most challenging shots I've made with it: 12mm, wide open, 1/10 sec. DNG straight from LR, no PP. Edit: Hand-held, ISO 800, no flash.
