Pentax 77mm /1.8 Limited and Pentax 70mm /2.4 Limited is much better than Pentax 50-135* /2.8

The MONEY SHOT of the bunch! This image (& pp, if any/much?) is pretty much exquisite.

Perhaps it's just that many of the other photos are quite small. (?) Not sure. But this one really resonates with me.

"Money shot" just means the best one - the one that would bring the most money, I guess, loosely translated.

I agree, though, I'd like to see some of the larger versions of those 70ltd shots linked here - shrinking loses so much IQ....

Sorry for pulling our American vernacular on you (I did provide a link to a definition this time at least! ) That's a great one to know however so glad it was explained.

My b-day is at the end of the month. I think I'm going to send my wife a B&H link to this lens.... It'll make a for a great 'stealthy' kit.

So was the image I cited post-processed any, and in what way?

No problem. I really thank you for your effort in speaking the English language.

I was wondering if that image was right out of the camera? ...Or if you shot in RAW and did post processing in ACR or PhotoShop or Lightroom or some other program?

I'm looking forward to hearing your opinion on the comparison. I have some thoughts as to the "signature" of the look produced by each. But I am eagerly looking forward to seeing your results and hearing your opinion. Everyone seems to want to give me the "hard sell" on the 77mm (as a "must have" lens), but I am leaning towards the 70mm.

I'm convert original RAW into the PhotoShop CS3 (Camera RAW plugin) or into SilkyPix - best way for save original quality. For skin correction I'm use Imagenomic "Portraiture" in "default" preset. For a big skin defect - healing brush. Any other - lightness, contrast, sharp or color balance - by taste

Usual I'm use only light skin correction by "Portraiture", not more.

I meant skin correction only with woman portraits, man portraits must be hard
