It looks even worse in real life. Funny enough. But I decided to take some pictures with it:

My initial impressions is that this lens is usable as long as you aren't shooting towards the super harsh Florida sun. I do plan on doing more scientific tests tomorrow when I have time to determine how bad this lens is. Softness seems to be partly my fault after I took a couple shots at 4:3 on a tripod indoors, I'll take better sharpness tests against the 35-70, helios 44-2 and my DA 40mm XS. For the price I got this at I'm pretty ok with the results
