Any silver Ltd lens on your k??? bodies

I'm leaning towards buying the 40mm HD Ltd for my k3. I see that the silver lens is a tad cheaper. I was curious if anyone had any of the silver ltd's on the Pentax bodies? How does it look? Anybody have pictures?
Thanks

Silver LTDs

I have a silver 15 for my K3. No pic at the moment as I am 165 miles away from it with my K1 kit. It looks good and is easier to pick out of my kit bag.

I have a silver HD DA70 that I used with my K-3 before I got the K-1. It, as well as the silver FA43 looked fine, I suppose but I actually spent more time behind the camera than in front, so I never really noticed.

Yes, a pair of silver DA15s (HD version) for stereography, mounted side by side on synced K20D camera bodies. No particular aesthetic reason: like you, when I went to buy them they cost a little less than the black versions. But I'll admit I do like the look of a small silver lens on a black DSLR.

I have several silver ltd lenses that I use. They look really sensational on my white K-S1 and they look fine on my K1. I bought them for the white camera, but they work just the same on the K1.

I have a silver 70mm Limited. Looks fine on my different digital K bodies. I like the colour, but I'm used to having the silver look on some of my lenses. Have a number of other non Pentax silver lenses on other cameras...kind of an 'old school' look nowadays. Does make the lens stand out.

Thanks for the responses. It does indeed look like the silver lens really stands out on the black bodies. That could be good or bad I guess, depending on what one wants. Thanks again.

Late joining in .... My Silver 31mm Ltd fits nicely (and performs well) on my K7, K5 and K3 !!
This is what it can do with the "old" K7:

I always thought that the black lenses are what I needed. Recently I got a good deal on a silver Limited (they were out of black) and went for it. Not only does it work extremely well, it looks nice on the black camera, too.

Go look at the in depth review of the HD DA 40 Limited. It shows exactly how a silver DA 40 Limited looks on a black camera body. You will either like the look or will decide you like the look of the black one better, but you will have the best look at what you are considering.

I took these when I got my 15, my future limited will also be silver, unless black is cheaper then.

it was $100 cheaper when I purchased

At the time I purchased my 35mm ltd I wanted black but just couldn't justify paying $496 as opposed to $396
