I like the DA *55 on full frame. It does have vignetting wide open -- not too bad by f2. I guess the thing to me is that when you are looking at a lens line up, 31mm/55mm/77mm made a lot more sense to me with regard to lens spacing then 31mm/43mm/77mm. Anyway, good luck with your decision. You can't go wrong with any of these lenses.

On the list of "other" recommendations, I'll add the 100 macro...

It isn't particularly fast at f2.8, but it's a focal length you don't have covered, it's WR, and the price is right. It's also a really good lens from what folks here say...
