Hi

Just came to buy a used 50-500 mm and took it to a natural site I find the focusing too slow....could it be problem of the body (Pentax K-m)?
Could it be lack of experience focusing at long distances? I had in mind a help from the AF ;-)

I find it focuses pretty well on the K-3 and K-1.

I have a 150-500
I just put it on my k2000 for the first time

and it is slower than on the other bodies I have
accurate just slower

Substantial advancements have been made to AF technology since the K-m, so it's likely the body in this case. Newer bodies are much more sensitive in low light, which is a key consideration when using a lens with a relatively slow aperture such as the 50-500mm.
