Any recent news or rumors regarding new 645 lenses?

Nothing directly related to 645 lenses, only a vague rumour according to which the next 645 camera would be a short-flanged mirrorless camera, which would have an obvious impact on the 645 lens roadmap.

Don't worry. All you have to do is to sell a few images from your collection. I have visited your site and you have some serious images. If I were you, I would also save for the next 645 from Pentax. Let it be a full frame mirrorless and I will sell my car and walk to work every day and use the money to buy the beast!!

Yep. I confess the circumstances really point in that direction.
No news on that front at all, no new lens, no new body, no firmware, nothing and... Competition is now at the doors both in terms of use (mirrorless) and sensor (a lot more Mpix/and that's from Sony).

I smell mirrorless 645 before September/October.

I suppose they need less rush than in K mount market.

It's just the beginning of a pattern but 645D was announced in March 2010 and 645Z in April 2014.

Right, I thought Z was bit older.
But if nothing at all moves on that front Z users will Stuart to wonder. Not good for business.

It's been nearly 3 years that one HAS to wonder : no new lens design since 28-45mm, a stupidly big, heavy and CROPPED lens, which conception could even have started in the late Hoya years...

If 645Z was such a success, and given the leaked "full frame" 100Mpix agreement, why wait for so long if there wasn't radical change in the air ?
