Pentax 77mm limited issue

Got a pentax 77mm limited from a Japanese seller through amazon. AF does not work. Asks for input of Focal length. Does this mean that the lens AF is broken? is there anything i need to check into before i confirm that the lens AF is broken. Please let me know

Is the aperture ring set to "A"?

Also try cleaning the contacts on the mount.

Thanks for the response. Aperture ring was the issue....

What kind of a price did you pay if you don't mind me asking as I am also looking to purchase?

I've seen a few of these fantastic lenses for sale on PF , in fact, PF marketplace is where I bought my used lens in excellent condition.

Yea I just missed one that sold for $550 in excellent condition in the PF marketplace. Most however are listed in the $700 dollar range so I'll be patiently waiting for the next great deal.
