Will do, sir!

Reviewing photos from this lens...Blown. Away. Sharp, but not too sharp, just has something about it. I don't know how to pinpoint it.

Do you mean that's just a common characteristic of Takumar? Loving them and not quite being sure why?

Some of the best glass that ever graced the mounting ring of any camera.

But there are plenty of gems available. From very expensive old lenses, to thrift store finds that only cost a few bucks. And the coolest thing is that everyone wants to adapt them to their non Pentax cameras.

Racer,

Yep! I'm just getting into vintage, legacy glass right now. Here are some photos from my first day with the Tak 200/3.5...Working on a little video from it as well:

Any feedback is very helpful, I'm not shy to constructive criticism.

Thanks!
Dan

Nice work. You should make a bunch up and offer them for sale. I bet you could get $50 each for them.

Easily.

Maybe even offer "Kustom Kolors" with pinstripes or flames as options.

Oh yeah, and do a web search for knurled knobs. Even cleaner than the three pointed one, and would offer more clearance.

And it matches the knobs on your ball head.

Sano.
I tried to get those but every version was sold out in the parts bin. I got stuck with one choice and this was it.
At least now when someone needs a tripod collar for a lens that is hard to come by this will be available for all to see.
I'm happy with it and always like to help out someone.
For now the OP and myself will have the only two of these out there.

No joy here either.

But I just thought it was just because I'm handicapped.
