Just based on what you've said, the Tamron 90 macro comes to mind, as does the DA 35 2.4. Those two would give you a pretty complete kit to go with your 50 1.4. Not expensive, top shelf image quality.

The 31 ltd. should be there but the cost is prohibitive.

It was an idiomatic expression so I must apologize for being confusing. The meaning is that I can say a lot more about them, but the "short" version of the story I would tell is that they are simply excellent. So if you have any specific questions about them please feel free to ask.

But I think his request - and parameters - is fairly common. I've found it interesting to read everybody's interpretations and solutions.
