Sorry, I kind of thought K "mount"
K series, hard to beat the 55 1.8
Another option is the 55 f2
I think there was a 50 1.4 as well.....

Thanks,

I don't think it's realistic to expect another K 28 f3.5 for 49 dollars in my lifetime. I msg's the seller within minutes but I was too late...
Anyway, my point is, someone recommended that lens and while it's probably one of the best Pentax lenses of the era, it's not going to be found for less than 100 dollars unless the seller just wants to get rid of it.
Same thing with the K 35 f3.5.

I have (and recommend) the 55mm f2. Same thing as the 55mm f1.8, just a bit closed down wide open. Otherwise the glass and coatings should be identical. I paid 24 dollars for mine on KEH about 3 years ago, and still see them for less than 50 bucks every once in a while.

I know a seller who has a K 55mm f2 for 29.50 in excellent condition. If the OP is interested I can send the link.

It's not impossible to find a K 50 1.4 for 100 dollars, I've seen them a few times.

Another vote for the K55/1.8.

If looking for a bit longer then the 55.... than the 200/4 is ok... and under $100

Yeah I've been yearning for the 200/4 K for a while. Certainly beats the pants off of the Pentax-M 200mm I have, which imo was a bit of a stinker.

Thanks for the input guys, the pics from the 55mm really do look amazing and it's a lot cheaper than I thought it'd be.

The K55/1.8 is very enjoyable, with great bokeh on FF. If you can beg/borrow to get the K28/3.5 that's great, too.

I don't have any other K lenses, but compared to other 50mm lenses, the K 50 f4 Macro I have is certainly a gem, and I got mine under $100.

Another vote for the 55 f1.8. Easily found under $100, and a great lens.

135mm f3.5, and 200mm f4 can also be found for under $100. Both very good lenses.

On the wider end, the 24mm f2.8 hovers right around $100.
