The aperture cannot be controlled at all anymore if you add extension tubes between the body and the lens, that's the issue with the 100 macro since there are no (official) tubes with aperture control and even unofficial tubes with aperture control are now discontinued (those from Kooka).
It is a not a show stopper though, for higher than 1:1 magnification you can always add a Raynox macro filter (dcr 250 or msn 202), but be aware that if you buy one of these you will need a 49mm to 43mm (or 37mm for the 202) step down ring to attach the filter to the lens.
I own both dfa 50 and dfa 100 wr and they're great lenses that are perfectly functional, I'd really prefer the 200mm f4 macro to be reissued/revamped rather than the DFAs
