For crop sensors, I much prefer the 30 something lens, and would have ranked any good 35 higher than a good 50. I wonder how that will change as more Pentaxians go FF.

You may well get your wish on the fifty, because if the upcoming D-FA*50/1.4 is as big and expensive as some fear it's going to be, those with less demanding specifications who love a "normal" perspective are going to want (and will buy) a somewhat lesser but still competent, compromise lens at a lower price point. It won't make a dent in the sales of the flagship fast fifty; they will be for very different end users.

Personally, I can see the reissue gaining quickshift and WR seals, but staying with screwdrive to keep the price, weight and size down. It might or might not gain HD coatings.

As for a fast thirty-five, possibly not; the FA35/2.0 is still listed as a current lens, and they will not want to undermine that, especially if they have something along the lines of a full frame 24mm or 28mm f/2 or f/2.8 in the works.

The current 50 1.4 also shouldn't be forgotten. it is a classic lens design, going back to Super-Takumar (which are still very good). An incarnation in a retro takumar body would be welcome.
