Looks like a great combo, K-3II with Siggy at 1.4 AND the photographer. Excellent images.

I've been looking at that lens wondering if I should succumb to another round of LBA, and I have a K3II. You're not helping me resist the urge! How can I thank you enough?!

Well Steve,

The pixel peepers saw massive purple fringing and distortion.

LR quickly knocked out the fringing and has a lens profile for the Sigma 30mm 1.4 for Pentax.

Surprising to see that Phase One Capture 1 v10.xx Pro didn't have a Pentax profile, yet had it for the Nikon and Canon.

The miracle of software to the rescue again! There is some unavoidable loss of detail in distortion correction and I would been surprised to see detectable PF in the example subject.

Addendum: I looked at the available reviews on this site and agree with the reviewer's assessment regarding PF and distortion when example photos were provided.

Still though, I am pleased you are happy with and find your purchase useful

BTW...the lack of profiles for Pentax in Capture 1 is not accidental.

I really like the fourth one but I would crop the bottom. It distracts from the beautiful arches. When I scroll down to where the top is just on screen It crops all the bright area beneath the lower railing and I like it better. You inspired me today, thanks.
