Lens performance on my K-1

I have the 70ltd and much prefer the focal length on FF than APS-C. IQ is pretty good but not stellar, i think the DFA28-105 beats it in resolution. The only thing wish it has is thinner DOF. I used to have the 55-300 ED, whilst it covered FF quite well the IQ wasn't very good.

I have used the Pentax A 35-105 on my K-1 and it works very well. It actually is my go to zoom when I'm looking for a bit more reach than my Tamron 28-75. To be truthful if I could have a wish it would be a newer version of the 35-105 with weather sealing and quick shift. Auto focus would be nice also but not a necessity for me. Or maybe instead a ff compatible remake of the DA 50-135. Pentax really needs a mid range FF zoom.

I spent couple of days experimenting with my lenses after I bought K-1 and here are my conclusions. DA*16-50 and 50-135 clearly didn't work and the photo store agreed to take them as a partial trade on K-1 few days after I brought the camera. HD 35mm macro Limited works well after I removed filter and stopped pulling out its hood. 70mm limited and DA 50mm 1.8 work well. 15mm limited and Sigma 10-20 work when used mounted on my Tamron 1.4 AF teleconventer. Pentax HD DA 55-300 (not PLM) works well. All my other full frame AF and manual lenses clearly work. Two weeks ago I bought DFA 28-105 which is an excellent lens and I am all set and happy with my K-1 system. I kept K-3 as a second body and sold K-5.
