Request: DA* 200 owner who can shoot K-1 test shots

Hi all,

I'm currently working on a project for the site, rating all DA lenses for their suitability on the K-1's full-frame sensor. Adam took samples with all of the lenses, but it turns out that the DA* 200 shots are badly misfocused.

Is there a current DA* 200 / K-1 owner out there who would be willing to shoot some test shots to help us wrap up this project? Please PM me if so!

Thanks!

Quick cross reference of the Serial Number Database shows i_trax owns both. There may be others - I just scanned the two by eye.

I owned it but sold it for the DFA 70-200. Still own the K-1 though...

Sorry to hear about your accident!

What we really need are some controlled test shots... could be something you could do from home, really. Just need to prop yourself up in a chair and snap off a few.

To be more specific, we need shots at each aperture setting, hood on and off, preferably at infinity focus. If you can also do the same thing at minimum focus distance, that would be helpful too!

Thanks in advance if you can help. No worries if not!

Ok , I have my iPad connected to K-1 so can control settings remotely, camera on a tripod.
"each aperture setting" 2.8 - 22 in total 19 options, is that what you are after?
What about ISO, in AUTO?
kind regards
jack

Sorry, I don't actually need each aperture setting. Brain fart when I wrote that.

You can do wide open, f/5.6, and f/11. That should be enough.

Since it's on a tripod, I'd go with base ISO.

Thanks!
