Pentax K-1 and Sigma 50mm f/1.4 lens

I have a K-1 and am considering buying a Sigma 50mm f/1.4. Does anyone have direct experience using this lens on a K-1? I am aware of hairline scratch it may create on the K-1, but I'm wondering if this lens will work in FF mode (vs crop-mode). Does it create vignetting if used in FF mode?

You mean this lens?
Sigma 50mm F1.4 EX DG HSM Lens Reviews - Sigma Lenses - Pentax Lens Review Database

I think the new Sigma 50mm Art is not available in Kmount, at least not yet.
I don't have Sigma lenses, but as far as I know, Sigma labels their FF lenses as DG. So that lens should work on K-1 in full frame mode.
(DC is for Sigma crop lenses, but feel free to google it to double check)

Btw, Pentax has announced a new DFA* 50mm f1.4. This has a new lens design, different from DA 50mm f1.8 and FA 50mm f1.4 and DA* 55mm f1.4. It will be similar to the Sigma Art, judging by the size and weight of the announced lens. But even DA* 55mm f1.4 and FA 50mm f1.4 seem to work in FF mode, if you don't mind a smidge of vignetting. I recently made a thread about Pentax 50mm lenses on FF, if you are interested: https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/10-pentax-slr-lens-discussion/344035-cur...mes-k-1-a.html

This is a vignetting graph of it on the Canon 5D. It will be similar on the K-1

Sigma offers a service where they will replace the lens mount with one that will not scratch the K-1. Details are here:

I have a Sigma 50mm F1.4 HSM which is an older design and no longer made in k-mount it is still available from a few small outfits new (last time I checked) I have used my Sigma on my K-1 without problem not even a scratch. The lens works great .
