That Angenieux is really nice.
Me? I was using a recently acquired minty Vivitar 28mm f2.0 Close Focus in K mount earlier today for flower photography.
Even wide open it is beautifully sharp and contrasty. I used a Pentax legacy 50mm round hood, no vignette on crop body. This lens is bokeh-licious, quite pronounced bokeh, not creamy but very striking and bold. Colours are very saturated, especially greens and you wouldn't dare to add saturation or vibrance in Lightroom.
I'll need to go on to the photography computer to post an image if anyone wants.
Also got an 'electric' Zeiss Sonnar 135mm f3.5 lately, also a superb lens with striking colour and absolutely scary resolution... I photographed my turntable with it at f11, flash on, and I could examine the diamond stylus tip for dirt!!! It has 1 metre/3 feet minimum focus distance, although I was further away than this. 😎
Also an SMC K24 f3.5 coming this week but that doesn't count but it is rare!
And a visit to LBA clinic.

My previous post stands then as no lenses I know have ever been made in Ireland... Japan and the former DDR are/were exotic 😁
