I have a few Soviet lenses, and I've noticed that some people note which factory theirs came from.

How do you tell?

My assumption was that the prizm logo meant KMZ.

In the interest of historic completeness, below is a link to Alfred Klomp's logo page, a resource that provided many of us an early key as to which entities made what.

ACP - Logos

As noted on the linked page, the resource at Zenit Camera (a fan site) is more complete, but I still retain a fondness for Mr. Klomp's work and his handy notes regarding each entity.
