Pentax once had a K300/2 prototype back in the 1970's, but it never went into production. Weight was 4500g!

Just to add another example image from yesterday... a young lady who has just signed up with a model agency and working together with her today (just adding to help her pad up the portfolio). I have no doubts that she is destined for great things.

2k is a pretty hefty tag though truly a collector's item. Images look lovely taken with it, at least its not an expensive paper weight

I recently coughed up 2k for an A135/1.8 and after some initial tests you can tell it's something special. (including wide open) I only shoot film so it's more of a longer process for me, trying various films and film cameras. Had really good results with the new kodak Ektachrome 100 ISO slide film.
