I had been waiting for a few years for a decently priced original hood. Just got it
It's time to test the Tokina vs the Sigma 120-400mm (on the K-1). Probably one of the two will go...
I have already tried another film-era AF lens by Tokina: the AT-X 20-35mm. It's much better than I expected, even on a 36Mpix sensor the performance is more than ok.

Cheers

Paolo

Nice win Paolo......Should you decide on the Sigma please keep me in mind. I have the AT-X Pros in 20-35, 28-70 and 80-200 and I'm looking to round the collection out with the big one

I've owned a small handful of these (both the first version and the second version), always hoping to find a "good one", but I was disappointed with each and every one of 'em -- softness and lack of contrast above 300mm (and of course I wanted to use it much of the time at 400mm - LOL) was the main problem. So, this ended up being one of a handful of lenses that I ~really~ wanted to love, but couldn't (and I ~do~ love some of the other Tokina AT-X and RMC lenses).

[Hmmm... Now that I think of it, I believe I still have the dedicated Tokina 72mm close-up doublet lens for it...]
